Mix the components in the order and ratio indicated above. Stir thoroughly after adding each item.
Clean all areas to be painted with 5 STAR XTREME #5900 Wax & Grease Remover to remove all dirt, wax, grease and other contaminants. Surface must be clean and dry. Grind repair area to remove paint and all rust as needed. Apply #5064 5 STAR XTREME Premium Body Filler, if required. Sand all areas to be refinished and featheredge all broken film areas with 320 grit. Use 36” masking paper to prevent overspray problems.
Spray at 5-9 PSI at the cap for HVLP or 30-35 PSI for conventional guns. Apply 2-3 medium wet coats allowing 2-3 minutes flash time between coats.
Recoat in 30 minutes, sand in 60 minutes, after 24 hours must be lightly scuffed before topcoating. Final dry film thickness should be a minimum of 1.0 mil.
Clean spray equipment immediately after use with Urethane Grade Reducer or 5 STAR XTREME #5414 Virgin Wash Thinner. Do not leave material in spray gun.
In case of eye contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. For skin: Wash thoroughly with water. If difficulty in breathing is experienced, get medical attention immediately. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting, get medical attention immediately. See Material Safety Data Sheet.
