Don M Before using our Auto Paint After using our Auto Paint I used the British racing green on my race car with the Jet black acrylic enamel and I'm very satisfied, this is a picture of the car after 1yr sitting outside, rained on snowed on etc.. customcarperformance.com After using our Auto Paint Here are a bunch of pics you requested.  This was a two tone paint job.  It was the first time we had every painted a vehicle.  I am sending pics of the truck before we started much body work, then after being wet sanded in red primer, then after being shot with your gray non sanding primer, then the white part of the two tone paint job, then masking the white for the green part, then the green part sprayed, then all done. We used your Acrylic Enamel and hardener with a HVLP gun.  Our compressor had trouble keeping up but the paint itself was fine.  We still got very nice results even with the underpowered compressor.  We have already gotten a ton of compliments already on the paint job.  We did not use any clear coat and we really like the "old school" look of the acrylic enamel paint. I've painted cars before, but I am not a painter by trade. This is some of the best paint I've ever used. Here is how I did it. It shoots on very smooth in thin coats and flashes fast. I use a cotton rag with Windex as a tack rag between coats {this safely removes bugs and dirt that stick to the paint}. I wet sanded with 1000 grit then two coats of clear which I wet sanded with 2000 grit. To finish I will buff with a machine. I painted this car in my garage under typically dirty conditions. I used the Bronze Metallic automotive paint. It was applied with a 50/50 reducer to paint ratio, and at about 20-25psi at the gun. It worked best to lay out in thin coats, and this kept the metal flake from sagging, and also kept the finish smooth. The high mix of thinner lets the overspray melt back into the paint, and I have done ZERO finish sanding. All that's left is a good buff and polish. I have been getting tons of complements on the paint, and when I tell people its a single stage Acrylic Enamel, and that it only cost $35 bucks a gallon, they are really surprised.
